Conflict-of-interest checks

Before you take on the matter.

LexOS BG supports conflict-of-interest checks by searching for matches among current and former clients, opposing parties and related persons. The system shows the matches and their context; whether a conflict exists is for the lawyer to judge — and that judgement is recorded in the file.

Time and expenses

Professional time — recorded as the work is done.

Time is recorded directly against the matter and the task — with a timer or manually. Expenses such as court fees, expert fees and courier services are recorded together with their supporting documents. The picture for every matter is accurate, with no reconstruction at the end of the month.

Billing

From recorded time to a clear invoice.

Recorded time and expenses become structured invoices according to the agreed terms — hourly, fixed or mixed fees. The partner reviews and approves before anything is issued, and reports show unbilled work, receipts and the position by client.
